Domain Support

Did you know that domains are different from websites? If you're unsure about who's hosting your domain, don't worry - you can easily check that on our website.

We want to make sure that your online experience is safe and secure. We can support, register, and host your domain, for $27 a year.

All our domains include SSL certificates, which means your information will be protected from potential hackers and your privacy will be safeguarded.

We offer a hassle-free option to either register a new domain or transfer your existing one to us.

We are happy to host your domain

To host your domain with us we need you to complete a short form, and make a suggested donation to 4 Church.

After you make your donation, please complete this form.

Please update your DNS settings

The following are the DNS settings to use with a 4 Church website:

Name
TypeValue

After you update your DNS records, please notify us.

Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers

Think of ICANN as the title company for your online land to ensure the safety and security of the domain name you own.

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN for short) helps keep the Internet running smoothly. This group, headquartered in the United States, is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the databases that control the names and numbers of websites.

They work hard to make sure the Internet is always stable and secure. ICANN also handles the technical aspects of the Internet, such as making sure all website addresses are accurate.

Recently, they have passed on some of their duties to a global community, making the Internet truly a group effort under the authority of the US government.

External Mail Programs

If you prefer to receive and manage email using external tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Apple, Google or Mozilla Thunderbird, two settings are required:

Server settings for incoming emails (here you can choose between POP3 and IMAP)

Server settings for outgoing emails (Here the data for SMTP is required)

Incoming emails:

The most common two protocols are available for receiving emails: POP3 and IMAP.

POP3

POP3 sends the original email to the device you first use to retrieve the email from the server. It is then no longer available on the server and cannot be retrieved by other devices.

Server: mail.sitehub.io

Port: 995 with SSL enabled or 110 with SSL disabled

Username: The email address created in Sitejet

Password: The password stored for this email address

IMAP

As more and more devices access email accounts simultaneously, IMAP is the preferred protocol. Here, the original email remains on the server, and retrieving devices receive a copy.

Server: mail.sitehub.io

Port: 993 with SSL enabled or 143 with SSL disabled

Username: The email address created in your portal

Password: The password stored for this email address

Outgoing emails

Here you can find the information for outgoing emails.

Server: mail.sitehub.io

Port: 465 with SSL enabled or 25 with SSL deactivated

Username: The email address created in your portal

Password: The password stored for this email address
